Important updates about our product packaging, specifically regarding allergen information. At Koko Black, our consumers health and safety is our top priority, and we are committed to providing you with the most accurate and up-to-date information about our products.

Why have we updated our allergen information on dark chocolate?

1. Enhanced ingredient transparency.  Our updated labels provide clearer information about the ingredients in our products and any allergens, helping you make informed choices about the food you and your loved ones consume.
2. Regulatory compliance food safety regulations are continually evolving to protect consumers. Our updated allergen labelling reflects the latest regulatory standards, ensuring we meet or exceed all food safety requirements.  
3. Feedback from our community we listen closely to feedback from our consumers and strive to accommodate your needs. The changes in our allergen labels respond directly to your requests for more detailed and specific allergen information, reducing any risk to our customers of allergen presence.

What can you expect?

Our packaging for our dark chocolate now include declaration of Milk. Both our dark and milk products are made in close proximity to each other, and from time to time, milk may cross over into our dark products. Our objective is to ensure all consumers are clearly informed of the risk of milk within our dark products and our goal is to ensure all allergen information in a clear, easy-to-read format. 

Look for the “Allergen Information” section on our labels to find detailed listings of all potential allergens. Milk is now included as an ingredient within all dark chocolate products. Unfortunately, our products are not 'Dairy Free'.
