What if I'm not home to receive my order?Updated a year ago

Standard Delivery is sent with authority to leave. Drivers are able to leave your order at the delivery address if there is a safe and secure place to do so. You will be able to see proof of delivery via the tracking link you received, including photos.

If the area is not secure, like an apartment block or routed for delivery outside of business hours, the order will be taken back to the local depot for re-delivery another day. If you have additional instructions you would like included to assist for delivery (such as trading hours or where you would like your order left), you can add this into your tracking link.

Please note that delivery is 8am-6pm 6 days a week, and we cannot schedule delivery during a specific day or time.

Same Day Delivery through Freeway Transport, requires signature upon delivery. If there is not someone home to receive the delivery, the order will be returned to Koko Black and we will endeavour to dispatch this via standard delivery the next business day.

If delivery fails due to someone not being home to receive, we cannot refund the same day shipping cost.

DHL Express will send tracking information, including a link for you to select your own delivery date and give authority to leave with delivery instructions. Koko Black cannot be held liable if you give authority for DHL orders to be left.

Australia Post Express Post will take the order to the local post office for collection if there is no one home to receive the order.


As our chocolates are temperature-sensitive, we will manage the heat exposure as much as possible, but we cannot take responsibility for any melting or spoiling if the order is delivered appropriately but not collected.
